This week, I am not doing a traditional #SheWritesIt blog post. Instead, I have written a prayer that I want to share with all of you. For the month of May, I am focusing on faith. Some of you need to pray this prayer every day because it will help you open your spiritual eyes. To walk by faith, you need your spiritual eyes opened.
Prayer: Lord, Open My Spiritual Eyes
Dear Heavenly Father,
I give You the praise, honor, and glory do unto Your name. I will bless your name at all times and Your praise shall continually be in my mouth (Psalm 34:1). Father You said, if we ask any thing according to Your will, You hear us (1 John 5:14). Today, I ask that you open my spiritual eyes. Enlighten the eyes of my spiritual understanding (Ephesians 1:18).
Open my eyes, turn them from darkness to light, from the power of Satan unto God (Acts 26:18). Remove any demonic scales blocking my spiritual sight .According to your Word in John 12:40, my eyes will not be blinded nor will my heart be hardened. My eyes will see, my heart will understand, and I will turn to You for You to heal me.
Like You did for Elisha’s servant in 2 Kings 6:17, open my eyes so that I may see. Show me that there are more for me than against for me. Help me in my daily walk with You to see things through the lens of faith and not by natural sight. I decree and declare in the name of Jesus that I will fix my eyes not on what is seen, but on what is unseen, since what is seen is temporary, but what is unseen is eternal ( 2 Corinthians 4:18).
For I know, Your eyes on the righteousness and Your ears are open to their prayers. ( 1 Peter 3:12). Thank You Lord for hearing and answering this prayer. I declare by faith that my spiritual eyes are opened.
