Before the doctor walked back into the room to give me my diagnosis, I knew it wasn't going to be good one. In fact, I expected it to be bad. I knew from the intense pain in my body I wasn't going to receive a good report. But I was okay with that. Because I trusted God and had faith in His Word, I knew my body was healed. Understand me when I say not going to be healed, might be healed, or could be healed. No, my beloveds body was healed because God's Word said Christ has redeemed from the curse of the sickness and disease (Galatians 3:13) and by His stripes I am healed (Isaiah 53:5).
Jesus died on the Cross for our healing. He died so we may claim our healing NOW. The 39 stripes He endured on His back was for us to walk in total and complete divine healing NOW. So while the doctor gave me a bad report, I believed the report of the Lord and that report said God sent His Word (Jesus) and healed me and delivered from my destruction (sickness) (Psalm 107:20).
Now I understand everyone doesn't have this revelation about divine healing and if you are reading this post right now and you don't have it. I pray that the eyes of your understating be opened in the name of Jesus and you receive the revelation of your right of supernatural healing by faith and belief in Jesus' redemptive work for you on the Cross. Right now at this very moment you are HEALED!
As a child of God, you don't have to fear a bad medical report. After the doctor told me my diagnosis, I could have gotten upset and went into fear. But I stood on this scripture, "He does not fear bad news, nor live in dread of what may happen. For he is settled in his mind that Jehovah will take care of him"(Psalm 112:7). I knew that his report and findings were going to bad. But I didn't let them rattle me. I have settled in my mind that Jehovah Rapha (The Lord My God That Heals Me) is taking care of me and healing my body.
Today I want to ask you a question. Whose report shall you believe? Will you believe and accept the report of the enemy that you are sick and your illness or disease is incurable or will you believe the report of the Lord that you are healed even if symptoms still remain in your body? You have to claim your divine healing from God by faith.
According to the Amplified version of the bible, "faith is the assurance (title deed, confirmation) of things hoped for (divinely guaranteed), and the evidence of things not seen [the conviction of their reality—faith comprehends as fact what cannot be experienced by the physical senses]" (Hebrews 11:1). Faith says I am healed NOW! It is not moved by lingering pain or symptoms that are still present in the body. Faith calls those things that are not as they were. You are healed and you are healed now.
Today I encourage you not to worry, panic or FEAR when you your receive a bad medical diagnosis. Sometimes you can't prevent yourself from getting sick, but you can prevent the negative way you may react to it. Those who trust in the Lord, don't fear bad news! They trust God to be their Healer! My beloved you are healed!
